Oak Leaf Badge for Jager Troops M-43 Cap

Oak leaf badge for M-43 cap. For Jager (rifleman) Troops. Silver collored pot metal badge with integral pins (3) for attaching. Measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" and is die stamped. Seen often in period photos being attached to the left side of the turn up of M-43 caps. Similar to the edelweis badge worn by Gebirgsjager troops on their Bergmutze.
